Our own content
The writing, visualisations, diagrams and layout on this site belong to NEXTDIGIVERS LLC unless credited otherwise. You are welcome to quote a short passage with a link back. You may not republish an article, in whole or in substantial part, on another site, in a newsletter, or as machine-generated output presented as your own work. For syndication or licensing, write to editor@thelayeredhomes.com.
House plan drawings, renderings and plan numbers belong to the plan publishers who created them and are shown here for review under their terms. Product images belong to their manufacturers.
If we have infringed yours
We respect copyright and act on valid notices. If material on this site infringes a work you own, send a notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. § 512(c), to our designated agent:
Copyright Agent, The Layered Homes
NEXTDIGIVERS LLC, 30 N Gould St STE R, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States
privacy@thelayeredhomes.com — subject line: DMCA Notice
What a valid notice must contain
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner, or a person authorised to act for them.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you say has been infringed.
- The exact address of the material on this site, specific enough for us to find it.
- Your name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for them.
We aim to acknowledge a complete notice within two business days and to remove or disable access to material that is the subject of a valid notice promptly. An incomplete notice will be returned with a note saying what is missing. Knowingly making a false claim of infringement carries liability for damages under § 512(f).
Counter-notice
If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, send a counter-notice to the same address with: your signature; identification of the material and where it appeared; a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake; your name, address and telephone number; and your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your district (or, if outside the United States, for the District of Wyoming) and to accept service from the person who filed the original notice. We forward counter-notices to the original complainant and may restore the material after ten business days unless they file a court action.
Repeat infringement
Comment authors who repeatedly post infringing material will have their comments removed and be blocked from commenting.
